Programs
During every academic year, TMCEC offers dozens of programs aimed at a variety of constituents, from judges, clerks, and prosecutors, to bailiffs, marshals, and warrant officers, to juvenile case managers. Please locate a constituent group on the menu to the right to find more information specific to that group.
In addition to those seminars offered across Texas each year, TMCEC holds clinics, orientations, webinars, and focus groups from our Austin office to provide specialized coverage on a range of topics. Expert faculty lend a reputation of excellence and accuracy to all TMCEC programs, and are sincerely appreciated.

Seminar Registration
Registration for TMCEC programs typically costs between $100 and $250 and includes hotel accommodations and those meals that fall within seminar meeting times. At some seminars, CLE credit will be offered for an additional fee. Prosecutor seminar registration is higher and varies depending on room request and CLE credit. Register early, seminars have limited availibility. Cancellations and Refunds
Should you need to cancel or transfer a registration, or to request a refund, please download the appropriate form and fax it to us at 512.435.6118.
Waiver of Registration Fees
If an individual, city, or court is unable to pay the registration fee, please write a letter explaining the financial difficulty to the Board of Directors for consideration 45 days prior to the event. Address your letter to TMCEC Board of Directors, c/o Ryan Kellus Turner, General Counsel and Director of Education, 2210 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78756.
Eligibility to Register
TMCEC is funded by public monies. Generally, only individuals currently employed by a municipal court in Texas are eligible to register for and attend TMCEC programs. Exceptions include: (1) juvenile case managers working at a justice court may attend the Juvenile Case Manager Conference, (2) county and district attorneys that prosecute Class C Misdemeanors in justice or county courts may attend prosecutors programs, (3) judges that hear municipal court appeals may attend regional judges programs; and (4) program partners, city officials, and law enforcement may attend TxDOT-funded programs at TxDOT or local expense.
